⛳ Take Thousands Off Your Sim Setup
Does anyone have experience buying pre-owned simulator parts? Or better yet—where do you find heavily discounted sim components? We see these questions all the time, so we’re breaking down the best ways to score premium gear without paying premium prices. If you’re looking to build out your dream setup without draining your bank account, this one's for you.

The Wild West of Used Sim Gear
We all have a love/hate relationship with Facebook and the forums. Sometimes, you find a diamond in the rough, others a total scam. If you’re willing to risk it, we’ve had some success on…
Facebook:
Golf Simulator - Used Gear - Buy/Sell/Trade: A go-to for everything from launch monitors to full-blown enclosures.
Skytrak Users: If you’re set on SkyTrak, this group is your best bet. Members are always listing used units.
Forums:
R/golfsimulator: The Reddit community has a dedicated “for sale” flair where members list their setups. Just be quick—good deals don’t last long.
We’ve heard plenty of success stories from these channels, but there’s always a risk. Nobody wants to drop a few grand on their “dream setup” only to be scammed out of a couple of thousands bucks.
If you’re looking for something with a little more security and brand recognition, here’s where we’d check first. 👇
Launch Monitors
If you’d rather skip the Facebook roulette and buy from a trusted retailer, these spots have certified pre-owned launch monitors—often with deep discounts.
If you like the security of buying from a known golf retailer, Global Golf is worth a look. While they’re mostly known for used clubs, they also stock certified pre-owned launch monitors, with savings up to $400. Inventory is limited (currently Flightscope, Garmin, and Rapsodo models), but all units are in great condition—light wear, accurate readings, and free shipping. Plus, trade-in discounts make it an even better deal.
If you’re liking the looks of Global Golf, 2nd Swing has even more inventory and bigger savings. They carry models in conditions ranging from “average” to “mint”, including SkyTrak. And did someone say $1,400 off retail? If you’re hunting for a high-end launch monitor at a fraction of the price, start here.
Shopping for top-tier tech? Par2Pro specializes in premium simulators and accessories, and they occasionally have demo Foresight launch monitors with several thousand dollars in savings. If you’re chasing Tour-level accuracy without the Tour-level price tag, this is a good bet.
Other
If you’re after a specific model and coming up empty, check the brand’s own website for a refurbished section. We’ve spotted refurbished pages for Rapsodo, Foresight, and SkyTrak (though nothing is listed here at the moment). It’s always worth a look!
Impact Screens
An impact screen should be crisp, clean, and projector-ready—but premium screens can cost a small fortune. If you don’t mind a little wear and tear (or you're handy with a sewing kit), you can slash your costs without sacrificing quality. Here’s where to look:
All Sports Systems offers Factory Seconds Golf Screens, meaning they’re either overstock or have minor blemishes. But let’s be real—your impact screen is going to take a beating anyway. If you’re willing to overlook a few stains, you can grab a premium 8x10 screen for just $140.
This site has a defective section where you’ll find screens that were stained, returned, cut to the wrong size, or used as demos. You’ll need to inquire about what’s available, but these screens can be up to 80% off retail. A little mystery shopping for major savings? Worth it.
Willing to get a little crafty? Par2Pro sells IMPERFECT SQ-RAW Impact Projection Screen Material. The material itself is top-tier—low noise, minimal bounce-back, and a great picture—but one side has imperfections. If you’re handy with a sewing machine (or can bribe someone who is), this can be a killer budget-friendly option for a high-end screen.
Projectors
A crystal-clear projector setup can get pricey, but if you know where to look, you can save hundreds without sacrificing quality. Here are two solid options for refurbished and open-box deals:
BenQ is a fan favorite for golf simulators, and their refurbished projectors let you score premium models at up to $620 off. Whether you need home cinema, gaming, or ultra-bright options, they’ve got a dozen or so models in rotation—just be quick, because deals come and go fast.
Best Buy is a tried-and-true option for refurbished and open-box projectors, with savings up to $900. Plus, you get the customer service and return policy that makes it a safe bet if you’re worried about buying used. If you're on the hunt for a top-tier projector at a discount, this is a great place to start.
Mats
A good hitting mat is one of the most important (and expensive) parts of your setup—but you don’t have to break the bank to get driving range-level durability.
Raw Hide Golf Ball offers massively discounted real-feel golf mats without sacrificing quality. You can grab a 5’ x 5’ mat for just $225, and word on the street is they’re better than most driving range mats. If you're looking for durability, true turf feel, and a price that won’t make you flinch, this is a solid deal.
Clubs
If you’re going all in on your golf sim, why not have a dedicated set of clubs? Whether you want to match your current set (so you’re not lugging clubs back and forth) or pick up a few extras for guests, you can find premium clubs at a discount here:
Next Round runs weekly deals on top-tier clubs, making it easy to build your dream set without breaking the bank. Keep an eye out for limited-time markdowns on big-name brands—because your sim setup deserves the real deal.

🏌️TGL Recap
Three matches. Big moments. Even bigger personalities. If you missed the action, don’t worry—we’ve got the best shots and hot mic moments from the week.
Matchups
LA vs. NY: A nail-biter that came down to the wire—LA edged out NY, 5-4.
BOS vs. ATL: Atlanta took control and never looked back, cruising to a 6-3 win.
BAY vs. JUP: Bay kept their foot on the gas, sealing a 6-3 victory.
🚨 New in TGL
TGL just introduced the SmartPin cam, giving you a bird’s-eye view of putts rolling in. Because every clutch putt deserves the spotlight.
Best Shot
LA vs. NY: History. Made. On hole 4, Cam Young (NY) drained a 38-foot-6-inch putt—the longest in TGL history. Take a bow, Cam.
BOS vs. ATL: Boston had the early edge, but Atlanta said not so fast in the individual matchups. The best shot? Patrick Cantlay’s tee shot on 12—pure artistry that helped seal the deal for ATL.
BAY vs. JUP: Bay had the momentum all night, thanks to Wyndham Clark’s tee shot clinic. But the best shot? Min Woo Lee, 24 feet from the hole, chips it in. Ice cold.
Best “Hot Mic” Moment
LA vs. NY: Okay, not exactly a hot mic, but Tony Finau made his TGL debut in style—teeing it up on hole 1 and busting a move. This is what TGL was made for. (Side note: A month left and we’re still getting new player debuts? Wild.)
BOS vs. ATL: A little more smack talk in this matchup. Keegan Bradley to JT: “You gonna hit this one, or you gonna hit it like that putt?” JT, unbothered: “It got there, okay?”
BAY vs. JUP: This was the best hThis matchup delivered peak hot mic content, but the crown goes to Shane Lowry: “My dad flew in from Ireland last night. He’s had about 6 or 7 beers already.” Absolute legend.
