šŸŒļøā€ā™‚ļøWhat Launch Monitors Do the Pros Use?

We get this question a lot—and for good reason. If you're going to spend serious cash on a launch monitor, why not see what the best in the world are using?

So we did a little digging, scrolled a little too far on social, and here's the scoop: These are the launch monitors trusted by Tour pros—and how they stack up against your favorites.

Scottie Scheffler: TrackMan with a Side of Old School

Scottie’s a feel player at heart. He once said: ā€œWe look at distance and that’s it.ā€ (Golf.com) No spin rates, no swing path data—just ā€œhow far did that go?ā€ vibes.

But don’t mistake that for being tech-averse. Scheffler practices with a TrackMan nearly every day and trusts it to validate what he’s feeling in the swing. He even brought it to the U.S. Open to prep. So while he might not be deep-diving into numbers, he’s still Team TrackMan.

Rory McIlroy: Sim Life Forever

Rory? He’s deep in the sim scene. Like...co-founded-an-indoor-league deep.

When TGL was testing their tech, Rory brought both his GCQuad and TrackMan to compare numbers—and gave the new system his stamp of approval. ā€œEvery number was virtually identical,ā€ he said. (The Athletic)

If you’re building a setup like Rory’s? You’re not choosing—you're stacking.

Xander Schauffele: Full Swing and GCQuad

Xander's a Full Swing ambassador, among many other tour pros like Tiger, Jason Day, and Patrick Cantlay. But he’s also been spotted with a GCQuad during tournaments like the PGA Championship—especially when dialing in shots in tough weather conditions (Golfweek). It’s a 1–2 punch of style and precision.

Justin Thomas: All-In on TrackMan

JT is a TrackMan loyalist. Always has been. Whether it’s working on trajectory, spin, or just flushing 5-irons for fun, TrackMan is his go-to tool.

He’s also known for being ultra-technical in practice—so if you want to get better and get nerdy, JT’s path might be the one to follow. (TrackMan)

Ludvig ƅberg: The Foresight Favorite

You don’t become one of the fastest-rising stars on Tour without dialed-in data—and Ludvig ƅberg is doing it with Foresight Sports. Videos on social show him training with both the GCQuad and the new QuadMAX, which has become the go-to for many top players.

Clean data. Easy setup. No fluff. Ludvig’s pick is popular for a reason.

And the Winner Is…

If you’ve been keeping score, there are two clear frontrunners:

TrackMan and Foresight Sports.

Some players bounce between both. Others are loyal to one. And yes—Full Swing is sneaking in too, mostly in the sim space.

But how does your pick measure up?

In our Launch Monitor Madness poll, you crowned the Uneekor Eye XO2 as the best launch monitor on the market. So let’s line ā€˜em up:

TL;DR

If you're building the ultimate simulator at home, you're in great company with Uneekor.

If you're aiming for Tour-level validation outdoors, TrackMan and GCQuad are your heavy hitters.

Either way, the pros are showing us that the best golf setups blend feel and data—and with the right launch monitor, you don’t have to choose.

šŸ†• Just Released: Full Swing Kit Combine

New range data, unlocked. Full Swing Combine was released last week, and it’s powered by Clippd’s shot-tracking AI. That means: every shot you take now comes with real context. Not just what happened, but what it means for your game. You’ll get scored on shot quality, distance control, and how dialed in you are across targets—with 200 being perfection (yes, hole-in-one perfection).

If you’ve ever wondered what exactly to work on, this is your answer. See it in action here.
