🏌️‍♂️Rory’s Driver Lineup: 2007–Present

A look back at the drivers that defined Rory’s career—from his first pro swings to his biggest wins.

Titleist 907D2 (2007–2008)

Rory’s professional journey began with the Titleist 907D2 driver, a 460cc club known for its high launch and low spin. Its unique triangular shape stood out, and it helped Rory showcase his explosive distance early in his European Tour career—even before he became a household name.

Titleist 910D2 (2010–2012)

This was a turning point. The Titleist 910D2 featured SureFit Tour adjustability, allowing Rory to fine-tune his settings for optimal performance. It paid off—he won both the 2011 U.S. Open and 2012 PGA Championship with this driver in the bag.

Nike VR-S Covert (2013–2014)

After signing with Nike, Rory switched to the bold, red VR-S Covert driver. Its cavity-back design was revolutionary at the time, helping push innovation in club design. While 2013 was a challenging season, Rory remained committed to this standout club.

TaylorMade M5 (2019)
In 2019, Rory put the TaylorMade M5 driver in play—a club that featured the breakthrough Speed Injected Twist Face technology. The result? Pure domination. He used it to win both the PLAYERS Championship and the RBC Canadian Open, showcasing a perfect blend of power and precision.

TaylorMade Qi10 (2024–Present)

Currently in the bag, the TaylorMade Qi10 offers increased forgiveness and stability—ideal for Rory’s powerful swing. It’s already made history, helping him secure a long-awaited win at the 2025 Masters and completing his career Grand Slam.

⛳ Can ChatGPT design your sim room?

Finding all the right components for your sim is one thing. But visualizing how your dream setup will all come together? Now that’s rough. So, we tried our hand at using ChatGPT’s new image generation capabilities to see how well it could turn a simple shed into a golf haven. The results? Not bad.

Step 1: Make a Moodboard

  • Pick the products you want to try out for size in your sim space.

  • Organize those products into a rough set up in Canva. Place items in proximity to each other and give a sense of general scale. This will better inform ChatGPT on how to construct the overall image. It will also help avoid any crazy scale issues, like having an impact screen-sized launch monitor.

Step 2: Use Our Prompt

Upload an image of your space and your moodboard. Then, customize the prompt below to speak to your space and setup choices.

“Create a photorealistic golf simulator room based on the moodboard provided. Use the additional reference image to match the layout, proportions, and structure of the room where the simulator should be built. The setup should be realistically scaled and include the following products:

Golf Mat:

Enclosure/Screen:

Projector:

Launch Monitor:

Please include: items like Turf flooring, A putting strip or putting area, A wall-mounted or side rack for golf bag storage, A bar area etc…

Use the layout and design style shown in the moodboard for inspiration. Everything should be proportional and believable in terms of size and space.”

Step 3: Refine!

Ask ChatGPT to edit/refine the output. Adjust layout and/or swap with different products to get a feel for how your selections impact your space!

The results? Not too bad! Sure the projector faces the wrong way, and I’m not quite sure what that launch monitor is, but hey, not a bad way to spend 30 minutes.

Send to a friend that thinks they’re a better golfer than they really are…

That’s it for today, golfers! Now excuse us while we go buy everything in the Rory collection at Next Round. ⛳
