Looking to elevate your brand with a custom hat?
Don’t make it just any hat. Make it a Branded Bills hat.
Why? They make quality merch (especially hats) that people actually want to wear.
Don’t just take it from us, here is what one of their recent clients has to say:
“I think Branded Bills is memorable because it is more of a lifestyle brand for us. It’s not just employees wearing them to work or technicians wearing them out in the field; they're wearing them to bowling alleys, sporting events, etc, and they’re repping our brand which is exactly what we want.” Rebecca Ferguson, Empire CAT

⛳ Build Your Dream Golf Shed (with Full Budget Breakdown!)
For 15 years, u/BlobAndHisBoy dreamed of teeing off in the ultimate golf sim shed—and two months ago, they made it happen. With an $85K setup that’s as jaw-dropping as it is high-tech, they’ve created a golfer’s paradise, sparing no expense and leaving no sim stone unturned. We caught up with them to dive into the details, and trust us, their tips will have you eyeing your backyard for shed potential.🏌️♂️
Where did you spend the most money in your setup, and why?
The building was the most expensive part. I built a shed that is 16'x26' with a 10'6" ceiling. I wanted a permanent dedicated setup and didn't want to lose a garage stall. Other than that, the launch monitor was the most expensive individual piece. I wanted accuracy, the ability to use unmarked balls, ceiling mounted, and compatibility with GSPro.
If someone is working with a tight budget, what area do you think is most worth investing in?
Don't buy a cheap hitting mat. You are going to use your sim a lot and your joints will thank you later. No point in having a sim you can't use because you are in physical pain.
What part of the build did you save the most on? Any specific tips for cutting costs?
I was lucky enough to not have to compromise on cost much. If I had a tighter budget I would have got a cheaper projector, impact screen, computer, and launch monitor in that order.
Did you use any DIY solutions, and if so, what were they?
I got a Mr Cool DIY Mini Split so I didn't have to hire an HVAC company. That was easy to install and saved me a few thousand dollars. I did need an electrician to wire it in to the panel though.
Give it some love! |
What features or equipment would you upgrade if you had more budget?
If I had an unlimited budget I would have built a bigger building so I could have had additional space for a pool table and poker table.
What’s your favorite part of your simulator setup, and why?
The launch monitor. I got a Uneekor EYE XO2 which gives club/ball data and doesn't require marked balls or club stickers (stickers optional for illustrated impact position). It also gives you a picture and video of you impacting the ball with your club so you can see exactly what kind of contact you made.
Were there any unexpected costs or challenges you encountered during the build?
Finding the right flooring setup so I could cut my hitting mat into it and have it flush was tough. If I could easily go back, I would have done that differently. I have two layers of puzzle mats under turf and my hitting mat cut in. I think I could have gotten away with one layer of puzzle mats to reduce the height of the transition from sitting area to playing area.
What advice would you give someone just starting to plan their sim build?
Most things can be upgraded/replaced over time. Get a working setup, and then incrementally upgrade equipment. But again, don't skimp on the hitting mat. You cannot play if you are hurt.
